About You:

You would be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and an aesthetic understanding of element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices, and so on. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Your Key requirements / desired experience:

From scratch to finish, design and develop the website.
Install and integrate WordPress in different hosting environments.
Suggest, Initiate, Setup and implement security of the website and other platforms. Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
Designing and developing an online store using WooCommerce.
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
Ensuring high performance and availability and managing all technical aspects.
Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and
plugin.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with the client.
Monitoring the performance of the Live website.

Core Technical Skills Required

Experience in the design and development of the WordPress website.
Strong knowledge and moderate experience in using elementor (Page builder)
Experience in the development of the plugins and customizing the free and pro versions.
Fluency in current development practices and development techniques, such as LAMP, PHP/MySQL, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
Knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, LESS, SASS, CSS, and AJAX.
Knowledge of technologies to aid development such as Git, Grunt, Gulp, and NodeJs.
Knowledge of website structure and functionality.
Knowledge of site tracking of performance tools and implementations (E.g. Google Analytics events, campaigns, etc.)
Adobe XD (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in UX design and its principles (advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats JSON, and XML.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}.
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Ability to project manage.
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Experience working with WooCommerce Plugin
